Wolves in Sheep’s Clothing

Written by Tammy Berry

We all have people in our lives that love us unconditionally, would do anything for us, and have our backs.
But what about the people who don’t? We all have them; the people who for whatever reason dislikes you, hates you, who would love to see you fail. They seek to harm and persecute with a smile on their face.
What do we do with these people?
As Christians we try to walk in love, but there comes a point when enough is enough. Does God expect us to be tolerant of people who would just as soon see you dead? NO! That’s ridiculous, we are Gods children, as a mother or father would you stand by and let someone verbally abuse and bully your child?
Of course not.
Set boundaries! Remove These People From Your Life!
If they cause you pain – Remove them
If they use you – Remove them
Slander you – Remove them
Belittle you – Remove them
Interfere with your God given calling or ministry – Remove them.
I don’t care if it’s your relative, sister so and so from the first pew, pastor so and so from the pulpit, or your friends mothers cousin. Block their phone calls, e-mails, block social media, do whatever you need to do to get these toxic people out of your life.
The fact that you’re a Christian does not mean you need to walk around with a “kick me” sign on your back.
The Devil will send people to harm or hurt you. “Beware of false prophets who come disguised as harmless sheep but are really vicious wolves. Matt 7:15
God will supply all that you have need of. Pray that he will send the right people into your life and remove the wrong ones.
What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ. Phil 3:8
